Bobby & Kim,
When we (Jay and I) went through the line at the wake both of you were outside and we didn't get to talk to you. I wanted you both to know how deeply sorry I am for the loss of your wonderful brother. As you know, he and I were the Godparents for my nephew, Tim. Jim played a HUGE role in Tim's life and he is the man he is today because of the love he received from Jim. The world has lost a TRUE HERO... He will forever be missed by our family.

Keeping you in our prayers, was great seeing Jim at our 25th reunion, he had a way of brightening the room, always a smile, hug or a fun word for everyone. A terrible loss. He will be thought of with great affection for his big heart and selfless contributions to everyone. God bless you all but know he is at home with God.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Jimmy was such a sweet, kind and wonderful man. He always had a smile and kind words for me everytime when I would see him at your old gym (World Gym). It's so very sad that he was taken from us much too early.

To Jimmy's Family,
I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Jimmy about tweny five years ago at a distribution center in Randolph, MA. He was a great kid and like a little brother to me.He had a heart of gold,great enthusiasm and an infectious smile.I was very sad to read about his death but at the same time I am so happy to see how much he was loved and how he passionately he embraced life!

I did not know Jim well but he was a person that you knew was genuine and sincere the first time you met him. Truly a rare human being.He had a gracious spirit and a kind heart. He touched so many lives and all will remember him with love.

Words alone, no matter how thoughtful, no matter how deeply felt, no matter how well intentioned will ever be able to assuage the grief and shock that you and the rest of Jim's family is feeling right now. But know that our love and hearts go out to you in your time of need and you and Jim are in our thoughts and prayers.
Laurie you have been our friend, our sister, our family and our blood for over 25 years. When you brought Jim into our lives we knew instantly that he was the greatest of men and that he too would become our friend and family. Our world is a less happy place without Jim smiling and joking in it and making us all better for sharing our time with him.

I had the pleasure of working a few times with Jim at Gillette Stadium for events. He was a good officer and a credit to the law enforcement field. He was the type that I can say I was proud to serve with. I wish I could have gotten to know him better because from everything I have been told he was a truly good man. Dear Laurie and the Zupkosfska family,
Jim was truly a great and caring man. The first time I met him was at a horrific car crash on Summer Street in 07/02. He stayed with the woman, even while her car caught fire, keeping her calm until the paramedics showed up. He stayed the whole night until 7a. I really got to know him that night and saw what a brave and kind hearted person he was. I will never forget that about him. I saw him jogging all the time and he would come over and talk to my son and his friends while they sat on my front steps. He was such an outgoing and friendly guy. Our neighborhood has indeed lost a great hero and outstanding man. Laurie, so you know, you do have neighbors that are here for you. Your family is in my prayers.

My heart aches for you all. So many of us have lossed a sibling at such a young and vibrant age. You don't get over it, you just get through it. Your don't get by it, because you can't get around it. It doesn't 'get better'; it just gets different. Everyday... Grief puts on a new face....I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.

That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.

But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.

It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,

And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,

To all of Jimmy's friends and family-- You are in are prayers. I grew up accross the the Zupkofska's down the "neck" and friends with Kim when we were just kids. Jimmy was a great guy, evertime my husband and I would bump into him somewhere he was just so happy and talking about his scuba trips- My husband went to school with Jimmy and worked with him at DiBona's and we both agree that just the happiest, friendliest guy around-
