I was deeply saddened to learn of Janice's recent passing. She and I first met at Montclair School. It was during third grade for me and Janice was so nice. It was a difficult transition to make but Janice took me under her wing. Other kids realized that if Janice liked me then I might be worthy of their friendship too. For as long as I knew Janice her kindness was always present. We lost touch as often happens but then, we met again in our late twenties. As was her custom, she showed me nothing but friendship and kindness. I extend my deepest sympathies to all of her family and her closest friends. It was my honor to have had Janice as a part of my life. Sincerely, Kathy Brinkert Howard
