Ada Hall Obituary
SPARTANBURG, SC-- Mrs. Ada Strong Hall was born on June 30, 1925 to the late Mr. Perry Strong and the late Mrs. Peggy Strong. She peacefully entered into eternal rest on Tuesday evening, April 7, 2009 at her home.
Mrs. Hall was the widow of the Deacon Tommy Lee Hall for 67 years before he expired in December 2008. She was a member of the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a deaconess.
Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Cathy Hall Wilkins; and one son, Tommy Lee Hall, Jr. She was the last survivor out of her thirteen siblings.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Linda Hall (Joseph) Wallace and Mrs. Lorraine Hall (Donald) Lewis, both of Spartanburg, SC; five grandsons, Mr. Kevin (Olivia) Shippy, Mr. Roshaun (TaLisha Haywood) Hall, Mr. Edward Leon Wilson, Jr., Mr. Davon Omar Lewis and Mr. Jaffre Lewis, all of Spartanburg, SC; and one great-granddaughter, Little Miss Anijaih Hall of Spartanburg, SC.
The family is at the home, 306 Blue Bonnet Drive. Spartanburg, SC.

It is not easy to lose a mother, but know that she is in a much better place and that she and Deacon Hall are together once again. I have sat where you are now sitting and I understand your pain and grief. Continue to trust in God and He will wipe away your tears.

Lorraine I was so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother but I must say that I was blessed to have been able to meet her(what a joy she was). I know that you will miss her but I've already had to deal with what you are experiencing now but we know that we are going to see them again so we must look to the hills from which cometh our strength all of our strength comes from God. I love you and may God continue to bless and keep you and your family.
