Ralph Evans Obituary
Wellford, SC - Ralph "Pete" Evans, 81, passed away on Saturday, August 07, 2021. Born in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Jesse and Jessie Evans and the husband of Louise Ellis Evans. He was a veteran of the US Army Reserves and a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church. Ralph retired with Arrow Automotives after twenty years and Hoke Inc.
Survivors also include his son, Brian Evans and wife, Andrea of Lyman; his daughter, Kim Knight and husband, Eddie of Lyman; three brothers, Floyd Evans and wife, Judy, Guy Evans and wife, Nancy and Phil Evans and wife, Cindy; two grandchildren, Amber and Brooke Knight; and his granddogs, Maya and Marki. He was predeceased by two brothers, Steve and Dennis Evans; and four sisters, Mae Ellen Emory, Shirley Cantrell, Bobbi Ann Huckaby and Ruth Parham.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:30PM on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Holly Springs Baptist Church with Dr. Tim Clark, Pastor Fred Quidley, Rev. Eddie Smith and Rev. Michael Evans officiating. The family will receive friends from 11AM until 12:30PM prior to the service. Interment will be held in the church cemetery.
