Christopher Hugh "Chris" Harris, Sr., 65, husband of Donna Rhodes Harris, died Saturday, August 7, 2021.
Born November 14, 1955 in Spartanburg, SC, Chris was a son of the late Paul Harris and Lucille Queen Chavis. He loved fishing, NASCAR, and a good western.
In addition to his wife of 43 years, Chris is survived by his son, Chris Harris, Jr. of Pauline, SC; daughters, Missy Scruggs of Cowpens, SC, Lisa Butler of Wellford, SC, and Lori Lawson of Woodruff, SC; eleven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; a brother, Ricky Harris of Rutherfordton, NC; and a sister, Linda Harmon of Pacolet, SC.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 11th, 11:00AM until 1:00PM at Dunbar Funeral Home.

Family,
Please accept our condolences in the passing of Mr. Chris.
I knew him from many years ago when I did service calls to TNS MIlls to repair some of their material handling equipment, and always looked forward to seeing him when I went there. Last time I saw him I stopped by the house and talked with him for a good spell. He was a good hearted individual. I will miss him.
