James Calicutt Obituary
WELLFORD, SC-- James H. Calicutt, 83, of Wellford, SC, passed away at his home on John Dodd Road at 12:45 AM on Tuesday, October 23, 2012. Born March 26, 1929, in Union County, SC, he was the son of the late Mack and Maude Tucker Calicutt. He was the husband of 58 years to Audrey M. Calicutt.
Mr. and Mrs. Calicutt are members of Jackson Baptist Church. He was retired from Mayfair Mills after 35 years of service and loved fishing, gardening, and raising cattle.
In addition to his wife, survivors include his eldest son, James Timothy Calicutt and his wife Patty; son, Roger Allen Calicutt and his wife Jackie; and his youngest son, Ronald Scott Calicutt, all of Spartanburg; grandchildren, Ore Isaiah Calicutt, Tennille Seay, Scott Calicutt, and Lisa Marie Calicutt; and great-grandchildren, Nolan Seay, and Aleena, Savanah, and Kaylee Calicutt.
Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM Friday, October 26, 2012, at Jackson Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM, at the church, conducted by the Rev. Jim McMakin. Burial will be in Fort Prince Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be made to Jackson Baptist Church Building Fund, 2662 John Dodd Road, Wellford, SC 29385.
The family is at the home at 1921 John Dodd Road, Wellford, SC.
