Patsy Humphries Obituary
INMAN, SC-- Patsy Ruth Dill Humphries, 81, of Inman, died Thursday, October 27, 2011.
Mrs. Humphries was born in Durham, NC, on July 11, 1930, and was a daughter of the late Kate B. Stone. She was employed for a number of years at Sears and Roebuck in Spartanburg and was a member of Inman Mills Baptist Church. She graduated from Inman High School.
Survivors include a daughter, Lisa Hendrick and her husband Todd of Spartanburg; two sons, Michael Conward Humphries and his wife Fern of Inman and Alan Humphries of Inman; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Jack Mangum.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, October 29, 2011, in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Regional Hospice, 120 Heywood Avenue, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
