April 24, 1948 - May 31, 2021
Darin Zane Krogh merged with the universe on May 31, 2021. He clung to the notion of the immortal soul; he did not fear death and repeated throughout his life, "I'll be back on my feet someday."
Darin's crowning glory in life was to help raise three children to be astounding adults of some achievement. Darin's lowest point was disappointing two of the finest women who walked the earth. Darin was also blessed with children who did not share his blood but lived in his heart. He left behind a sister Diana and a brother Paul as the remainder of a brood of six children who grew up too close to Hillyard.
Darin Z. Krogh is survived by wife Lynn, former wife Leslie. Children: Aaron (Dena), Melissa (Mitch), Amanda (Craig), Nikai (Shannon), Tanya, Chase (Amberlynn).
He was the most fortunate of men to have cherished these grandchildren: Noah, Ella, Julia, Jonah, Sarah, Zoe, Kealie, Hadley, Georgia, Rhett, Hyrum, Livia, Kailah, Christian, Lilyauna, Zophia, Avara.
Darin Z. Krogh has completed the cycle of dust returning to dust.
Darin still denies that he ever bowled in a league.

I only met Darin once through an email exchange. He helped to provide some additional details on a vintage Monkey Room drink menu (http://vintagespokane.blogspot.com/2015/02/monkey-room.html) from the old Sillman Hotel in Spokane that is proudly framed in my basement bar. His book LILAC CITY CONFIDENTIAL deftly detailed the meeting with a private detective in an less than proper bar that contained live frisky monkeys. Thank you Darin for your gift of putting together words in just the right order and hope that this is not your final chapter. Cheers, always a fan.

Darin was an amazing man who had a great big loving heart, an incredible sense of humor, was a talented storyteller and was also very kind. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and fans but he’s certainly going to be keeping them all entertained in heaven. RIP Darin
