I remember her from Audubon Elementary and she was really nice to me and all of the other kids at that school. I will miss you. To her kids, you had an awesome mother always remember that.

My deepest condolences for the family of Amie West, I am so heartbroken to find this information. She was the sweetest most caring soul, a Registered Nurse with a pure servant's heart. May her soul be forever remembered, for the rest of eternity and in the hands of Jesus and the Angels. I miss her, and thank Jesus for the boundless LOVE her spirit brings in this dimension everyday.

I am so very sorry to read of Amie's passing in our newspaper. I knew Amie as a very young person, and her family, when we were friends in Oregon. I cannot imagine your heartbreak and sorrow, my heart aches for you. Please know that I am sending you love, support, and many hugs. When the time is right, I would love to reconnect. Much love!

I had the opportunity to meet her on several occasions after golf tournaments. She was a delightful, loving person who made an everlasting impression on me.
I feel so much sadness for her family, and children.
Much love,
Brian, Katie and Joleen Crawford

To the Smith and West families, my deepest condolences for such a profound loss in Amie. Thank you for sharing such an amazing person with all of us who weren't her blood family. I'll never forget where I was when I heard the news. Though our interactions were less frequent after high school, she never missed an opportunity to reach out in messenger to applaud or provide support for something I've posted. It also made me happy to see her pursue her many passions. I loved and will miss the beautiful pictures she posted of her kids and the numerous families who entrusted her with family and senior pics. She was truly a light for many and even me during a couple of pretty significant moments in my life. When I couldn't see past my personal hurt and sadness she was right there with her nurturing heart to help me (and I'm sure numerous others) see the silver lining in the dark ominous clouds hanging overhead. It's funny how what appears to be a random act of kindness sticks with you. I choose to believe they weren't random but instead that she was an angel on high alert ready to leap into action when needed.
I use to love saying off the wall things just to make her laugh and blush. I'll never forget (my senior and her junior year of high school). After I had finally given up trying get her to say something sassy (sorry Mr. and Mrs. West). As I recall, she tapped me on my shoulder while I was at my locker with my girlfriend and belted out what clearly was a well rehearsed joke or line. I'm almost certain I fell to the floor laughing and even then she covered her mouth smiling and of course blushing. It makes me laugh today thinking about her competitive nature...and boy was she competitive. Me and so many others are so much better for having known and experienced her kindness, warmth and gentle nature.
Please know that my heart, thoughts and prayers are with you all during this impossibly difficult time. Praying for discernment and peace as you begin this new chapter of life minus one of our brightest stars
