Brenda TURMAN

1969 - 2022

Spokane - Brenda Jo Turman (Plumb) Brenda entered the world on February 2, 1969, to the parents of Fred and Joanne Plumb in Spokane, Washington. She followed her sister Maureen and helped welcome Susan and Jason to make a family of six. Growing up in north Spokane, Brenda attended St. Charles Catholic School and Shadle Park High School, where she graduated in 1987. She quickly made friends with her charisma and quit-witted sense of humor. On September 2, 1991, Brenda became a mom to Kyle when she brought him into the world. He inherited her passion for making people laugh and her contagious smile. Kyle left this world on August 9, 2022, at 30. Brenda found her passion when she attended cosmetology school and began her career as a hairstylist. Her attentive demeanor and exuberant personality helped her build a following of loyal clients for over 20 years. She made a hair appointment an event! If you spent time in her chair, it was sure to include a warm hug, authentic conversation, and side-splitting laugh- ter. Not only did you leave better looking, you felt spoiled and entertained. Brenda loved her pets, cribbage, dice games, a trip to the casino, road trips, dinner with friends, caring for plants, and fresh flowers, decorating, golfing, talking on the phone, and poker. She had a flair for fashion and made accessorizing an artform. In August of 2022, Brenda joined her parents, Fred and Joanne, and her son Kyle. She leaves behind her siblings, Maureen, Susan (Todd), and Jason (Melody), along with treasured nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Brenda has left this world; her spirit is whole, and her soul is free. Please join us for Brenda's memorial service on October 8, 2022, at 12:00 PM at Ball & Dodd Funeral Home at 5100 W.
