There are no words that carry the proper amount of weight to express what a loss my Grandfather's passing has been for all of us. He was the most solid and consistent person I've ever had in my life. The reach of his heroism was far beyond that of a war hero; it blossomed in him everyday as a person dedicated to leaving the world better than he found it. Even though he is physically gone, I continue to feel his guidance and love every single day. Rest peacefully, Grandpa, I love you.

charles breckenridge, was a amazing man who took care of the family and friends.we all really miss and love him.my favorite memeories with my grandpa are every august at the beach-he once carried seaweed with me and would write killroy was here, playing checkers, shoping at the goodwill on the northside, and that he was always a hard worker and never gave up- a lesson well learned from charles breckenridge but most of all he was an amazing grandfather as well.he will be strongly missed and loved.

Charles Breckenridge was THE best man I have ever known. He helped everyone in his family as well as many friends. He was a kind, loving, forgiving man with a wonderful sense of humor. He cared not only for the Earth but animal preservation as well. He never let his children or his grandchildren down even if it meant sacrificing his own needs and wishes. CMB was an example for all of us on what a person should become morally;just do what's right and the rest will fall into place. His passing has left all of us empty and wishing we had even one more hour to listen to his wisdom and hear his laugh. I am left with a huge emptiness in my life as are my children. He is missed and cherished more than he could ever possibly imagine! My best friend, my Dad, I love you!
