Charles GOODSELL Obituary
Charlie, age 81, passed away in Missoula, Montana, after a brief illness.
He was born in Spokane to Frances and Barclay Goodsell. He attended Hutton, Lewis & Clark High School, and WSU. Charlie served in the Army and worked for many years at Kop Cabinet Shop.
Charlie was later diagnosed with Alzheimer's, but that did not alter his love of life and his kind nature. He is survived by his wife, Mary, of 35 years.
A celebration of life is planned at the Alliance Church in Plains, Montana, on Saturday, September 16, at 12:00 noon (mountain time).

I am saddened to hear this news. I knew Charlie as a very friendly and happy person with a childlike joy for life. He was a very accomplished woodworker and inspired many to pursue the craft. He will live the memories of all he touched. Rest in peace my friend.

Very sorry the hear that Charlie had passed. I learned some of the old ways wood working was done from Charlie while working with him at Kops. His knowledge of woodworking was a book in its self. His knowledge of the history of Spokane was even larger. It was great listening to his stories during lunch. God chose a great one to repair and restore the pearly gates of Heaven. Charlie was a natural for the job.
