It's been 12 years since you left this plane. Sitting in my car and Joni Mitchell, Both Sides Now comes on the radio and memories of you flooded my being. We had so many adventures back in the Brooklyn days in the late 60's. My soul misses you still my friend

Ten years have passed and there are days you pop into my head and wont let go. You always left me smiling and I miss the world that had you in it

I am sorry to hear about his death. We went to school together; Cunningham JHS and Lincoln HS in Brooklyn. I remember him as good humored and sweet. My condolences to his friends and family.

I just learned of Charley's untime death a few days ago from a mutual friend. Charley and I attended Cunningham Junior High School and Abraham Lincoln High School in Brooklyn back in the 1960s. We re-connected about 10 years ago in Seattle and shared some good dinners. I knew that Charley had had a liver transplant and at least he made it to age 60, albeit a life cut short. My condolences to his family and friends.

I had the pleasure of knowing Charley when I was one of the original announcers at KPBX, which in 1973 was in Dave Schoengold's basement.
His knowledge of music was impeccable. My deepest condolences to Charley's family and friends.

I offer my sincerist condolences to Charley's family and friends. I knew Charley from Dr Cohen's office. I am so sad to hear of his passing. Three-liver Charley is now happy and skiing down the longest slope in heaven!
