Claudia WETTER Obituary
A memorial service for Claudia J. Wetter, age 89, will be held Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 1:30 PM, at the Plummer Bible Church, 1090 "D" Street, Plummer, Idaho, with Pastor Dan Willms officiating. Urn burial will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery in Plummer, Idaho. Claudia passed away on July 3, 2024, at Palouse Country Assisted Living in Fairfield, Washington. A celebration of life will also take place for Timothy Wetter who passed away on May 31, 2024.
She was born April 16, 1935, in Fairfield, Washington, to Carl and Norma (Butler) Stender. She attended schools in Fairfield, Washington, graduating from Fairfield High School. She attended WSC before her marriage to Karl Wetter on June 11, 1954, in Fairfield, and the couple made their home in the Plummer area. Claudia worked for the Plummer School District for several years as a school aid, in the school office, and in the school library.
Claudia had a great love for her family and pets. Her hobbies included watching wildlife and feeding the hummingbirds. She loved music and was an avid reader participating in the Tekoa Book Club. She amassed an impressive collection of bells. We will remember her wonderful sense of humor and great laugh.
Survivors include her children, Jody (Gary) Williams and Roger Wetter; grandchildren, Kristen Wetter and Daniel Villasenor (Bryan); sister, Shirley Miller; and sister-in-law, Addie Wetter.
Memorials to Palouse Country Assisted Living at Fairfield, WA, or to Hospice of Spokane.
