MORTON, Clinton Dean Clint lost his battle with a rare form of cancer on March 24, 2021 after a valiant fight of eighteen months. He was born in Spokane, WA on December 1, 1971 to Dave and Judy Morton. He always joked that he had a "Leave It to Beaver" childhood. He attended school in Spokane and graduated from Ferris High School in 1990. He was a gifted athlete and was awarded a football scholarship to Montana State University where he met the Love of his Life, Shana Blacker. They were married May 4, 1996 and were looking forward to celebrating their 25th anniversary. Clint and Shana have two boys, Jase and Trevor. After living in California, they moved back home to Spokane in 2007. Clint worked at Payne West Insurance where his hard work was rewarded with the opportunity to become a shareholder. Everyone who came in contact with Clint, felt his honest, genuine, fun loving personality. He had the best sense of humor and was fun to be around. He always thought of others never himself. He loved sports, "the cabin", 4th of July, coaching (both of his boys at times), and spending quality time with his family. He was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents. He is survived by his wife, Shana and sons Jase and Trevor. His parents, Dave and Judy Morton. His sister, Jill (Rick) Donovan. His sister-in-law, Ami (Shawn) Kraft. His father and mother-in-law, John and Julie Blacker. Mother-in-Law, Linda (Dennis) Orth. His nieces and nephews, Ronan Donovan, Carsyn, Hadley, Avery and Carter Kraft as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Bartels and his staff at Beacon Cancer Care, Hospice of Spokane and the Spokane Fire Department (Station 5 at Eagle Ridge) for their care and compassion.
