Clyde CRAM Obituary
Colbert - Mr. Clyde Allen "Lefty" Cram died peacefully in his home on March 1, 2024, in Colbert, WA, at the age of 79, following a long battle with COPD & severe rheumatoid arthritis. Clyde is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie Lou Cram; his four children, Brigétte (Steve) Benavidez of Willits, CA, John (Jennifer) Cram of San Diego, CA, Jacob Cram of Spokane, Nichole Cram of Spokane; two stepchildren, Scott Hall of MN and Corey Hall of Spokane; 14 grandchildren, Brandon Barbosa, Tonia Barbosa, Zachary Barbosa, Stevie Benavidez Jr., Aidan Cram, Jaxxon Cram, Chevy Cram, Cheyenne Cram, Ivy Rodgers, Alexa Cram-Cress, Dylan Cram-Kitchens, Brianna Patenaude, Aubrey Salyers, Heather Hall; 10 great-grandchildren, Mia, Kai, Eli, Isabella, Natalia, Olivia, Max, Titan, Benji, Owen. Stevie Jr. and Heather Hall had close, loving relationships with their grandfather, Clyde. He is also survived by his brother, Bruce (Linda) Cram. He was preceded in death by Ralph W. Cram. Clyde was born on July 16, 1944, in Douglas, AZ, to Ralph and Mavis (Hall) Cram and graduated from Mead High School in Mead, WA. In December of 1962, during his senior year, Clyde joined the Navy Reserves. Upon graduation in 1963, he was stationed in San Diego, CA. When home on leave in January 1965, Clyde got engaged to his high school sweetheart, Bonnie Lou Schoonover. That marriage did not transpire. Clyde married Helen Garcia of San Diego, CA in January 1966. They welcomed Brigétte and John into their home. Later, in 1981, Clyde married Margie Ellen Vietzky and welcomed Jacob to their home in 1982. In 1989, Clyde & Margie adopted Nichole. After marrying Helen and completing his military service obligation, Clyde began hauling dynamite to complete I-8 to Yuma, AZ. A move to Terre Haute, IN, landed him another trucking job. Clyde spent 5 years in Indiana with his family before deciding to move back to Spokane. Clyde began working for his father at C&T Auto Wrecking on Market. Clyde and Helen divorced. Clyde continued working at C&T through his marriage with Margie. 27 years after their initial engagement, Clyde married Bonnie Schoonover Hall on April 1, 1992, at The Hitching Post in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Clyde then went to work for Don Raines at Mead Auto Glass. Clyde retired in 2005 due to health reasons. Clyde was passionate about horses & loved being a member & riding with the group, Gentlemen on Horseback. Clyde was also a member of the Gold Prospectors Association of America. Most of all he was passionate about Bonnie. Clyde spent just shy of 32 years in marriage to Bonnie. Their marriage was one to model. Clyde requested there be no services.
