Darlene Griffith Obituary

Went to be with the Lord on January 26th, 2011, at 6:30 a.m. Darlene was born and raised in Milan, Washington. She attended elementary school in Elk and Chattaroy where she first met her husband, Mel. She graduated from Riverside High School in 1955. Mel and Darlene were married on June 24th, 1956. Following high school Darlene worked for Old National Bank until starting a family in 1961. She had four children, Kim, Kevin, Lori, and Jeff, and rejoiced in her six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Florence Toner, and her brothers Larry, Ray, and Dennis Toner. A memorial service will be held at Northview Bible Church, 13521 North Mill Road in Spokane, Washington, on February 4th at 11:00 a.m. A potluck luncheon will follow the service.
The Griffith family wishes to thank Hospice of Spokane for their support and quality care. They would also like to give a special thanks to the staff at North Central Care Center who took such personal interest in Darlene's care.
