Dee SCHILLING Obituary

Denise (Dee) Marie Schilling (Clay) was born October 2, 1958, in Great Falls, Montana. Dee passed away unexpectedly on September 19, 2022.

Dee grew up in Tekoa, WA (class of 1977), and graduated from Eastern Washington University in 1982. While at EWU she met her husband of 38 years, Christopher Schilling. They were married in 1984 and had three daughters, Krista (Charlie), Kelsey (Darrin), and Kaite (Breyden). Dee loved her family fiercely.

She dedicated her life to raising, teaching, and caring for children as shown by her 26 years with Spokane Public Schools. She was proud to be a Holmes Hero. Some of Dee's favorite things were quilting, reading, time in the sun, trips to the beach, and all things magical.

Her kindness, generosity, and love were felt instantly by everyone who met her.

Denise is survived by her husband, three daughters, four siblings (Tim, Tom, Tana, and Michele), as well as a large extended family.

A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
