Donald FORSLUND Obituary

FORSLUND, Donald A. Donald A. Forslund went to his heavenly rest on Sunday, December 6, 2015, at Tri-State Memorial Hospital in Clarkston due to complications from cancer. He was 80 years old. Don was born on August 20, 1935, in Spokane to William and Edith (Bailey) Forlsund. He was the eldest of two children born to the couple. Don was raised in Chewelah, WA., where he graduated from high school. Don also served in the U.S. Air Force. Don settled in Clarkston where he worked as a typesetter for various publications including the Lewiston Tribune. He and Anna Thomas were married June 16, 2001. Don was a long-standing member of the Lewis-Clark Alano Club and an avid motorcycle enthusiast. He was also a man of unwavering faith. Don is survived by his sister, Margaret Forslund of Spokane; sons, Larry Arlett, Kevin Bartholomei and Michael Bartholomei; as well as eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna; and parents William and Edith. A Celebration of life is planned for 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Lewis-Clark Alano Club, 1435 Elm St., Clarkston.
