Elizabeth GALE Obituary
Spokane - On Sunday, June 16, 2024, at 5:30 p.m., Elizabeth A. Gale departed this world. She was 95 years and 364 1/2 days old.
Mom was born on June 17, 1928, in Minneapolis, MN. She was a spitfire growing up during the Depression and remained so until the day she died.
Mom found her passion in Nursing, her partner in life with Edward "Ed" Gale, and her purpose in raising their large family. She was an advocate for those without a voice and a mother to countless others. Mom left behind 10 children, 17 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren, with one on the way.
Liz's life will be honored with a funeral Mass on July 31, 2024, in Spokane, WA, at Sacred Heart Church, at 1 p.m. A gathering in the church hall will take place immediately following Mass, where food, libations, and memories will be shared.

Dear Molly and family,
Your mother clearly loved her family very much. Treasure those memories and know that her spirit lives on in your hearts.
Her love and guidance will forever be a part of you, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
I can imagine the emptiness you must be feeling. I hope fond recollections of your Mother bring smiles through tears.

I have lots of memories of Liz. I had the privilege of being her caregiver for almost 2 years. We got to be good friends over the time. I will remember all the laughs and conversations we had together. We went way beyond the caregiver and client relationship. I will always remember her with much fondness and love.
