My Aunt Elsie was the most loving woman I have ever met in my life. Her gentle, sweet soul will be with me forever. I am so very fortunate to have been loved by her. I know she loved me as one of her own daughters and I loved her as another Mother. Her goodness shone through to all of us. Love you Aunt Elise, I shall miss you forever. Give everyone up there a kiss for me too! Marilee

Her sweet smile, disposition and kisses on the cheek will be sorely missed. She certainly carried on the legacy of the absolutely wonderful people in the extended Lamanna family.

Mom, when your death became inevitable there was nothing more intimate or heartbreaking than being there to say Goodbye. We cried oceans together but also laughed about fond memories. A piece of me goes with you but a bigger piece will stay with me. That is LOVE- a Mothers love. You were one of my greatest gifts. Love, Janet

On behalf of all Sisters of the Holy Names, especially those who taught at Holy Names Academy, Spokane, may we offer prayerful sympathy to Elsie's family and friends. May her new way of living in God's Presence bring great peace and joy to her, and may you experience Elsie's nearness always.

Aunt Elsie, you've received your angel wings and join the other angels who have gone before you. I loved that you were in the Tri Cities. I loved all our visits. I am missing you so much, but so grateful to have had the opportunity to spend so much time with you. Heaven just got a little sweeter. Love you.
