January 18, 2012

I am Guy Lindsey's daughter, Evelyn Baldwin. I send my condolances to the family of Ethel Lindsey. I didn't know her very well, nor a lot of the Lindsey family, except for my Aunt's and Uncles and my grandmother Lindsey. I saw the obituary in the paper and she sounds like a great lady. I'm sorry for your loss. I am thankful to be in touch with Leonard and Lorrie Lindsey.

I was grateful to get to know Ethel over the past year or so. She shared many family stories with me. She was so proud of her family and always had such great things to say about everyone. I will miss our daily chats.

Gary and Family,
She was a grand lady ~ 97 years young. She never aged when seeing her at my Dad's funeral in 98. I so miss the Sunday dinners and all the get-togethers when growing up in Spokane. She was a gentle and loving Aunt to me. I will miss her kind spirit.

Love You All,
Jerry Olsson

Ethel was the type of person everyone liked to be around. She was a great listener and always willing to help other people. She was still baking goods for sales to help the less fortunate into her ninth decade. She enjoyed lifelong friendships, family, and good health longer than most of us can ever hope for. She had a great life and will be missed by many.
