I will always remember what a kind person Gene was. I met him in the 1960s. He helped me at Pounders Jewelry. My sister and I walked in to look at items. Gene helped us. I bought some jewelry at that time. Now it's 2021. I still go to Pounders. Gene loved his job. He was a great husband, dad, father in law & friend. I'm proud to say we were friends. Jenny Kinney

Gene was fun. If it was your first time meeting him, you would have thought he was a long time friend. The most personable salesman ever. You always left with a smile.. He was one of a kind. Thank you Eugene for all that you did for so many people to make us all feel special.

I met Marcia years ago when I was a teenager at the Rock of Ages church. She met Gene & it was love at first sight for both of them. I have known them for years and feel so blessed. 14 years ago I went to Pounders jewelry knowing that Gene was still working there & that he would pick out the perfect ring for me & my now husband. First ring he put out to show me was the one that I fell in love with. Every time I look at that ring I always think of Gene. I feel so blessed to have known Gene & Marcia & they have such a beautiful family to carry on.
