Gloria June Luft

1926 - 2016

June Luft was born in Portland, Oregon to Howard and Zoe Conser. She was a graduate of Jefferson High School. She married Daniel Luft in 1945. In 1948, the young couple lost their home in the Vanport flood in Portland and in 1949, they moved to the farm in Clackamas County. She was an active member of Barton Community Baptist Church as a Sunday School teacher, trustee, and treasurer. After Dans death in 1966, she began her banking career with First State Bank of Oregon and retired from Key Bank as Assistant Vice President . After her retirement, she moved to the Spokane area where she was a member of Hamblen Park Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Zoe Lewis and Lucile Conser. June is survived by her brother Norman Conser of Tacoma; daughters Pam McLagan of Albany, OR and Debbie Fucile of Liberty Lake, WA; and grandsons: Dan McLagan, Timm McLagan, Seth McLagan and Andy Fucile; and six great- grandchildren. Private services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Junes name may be made to Holt International Childrens Services, Post Office Box, 2880, Eugene, Oregon 97402.
