Jack Lee GIBSON

1939 - 2023

Jack was born on August 25, 1939, in Spokane, Washington, to William and Anna Gibson. He passed away on April 18, 2023. Jack attended North Central High School and graduated in 1957. On August 1, 1959, he married his high school sweetheart, Marlene Kay Garberg. They were married for 53 years until she passed in 2013. Jack spent a major part of his career selling ceramic tile to dealers, architects, and designers. Jack enjoyed watching TV, ( westerns, hockey, basketball, and various TV shows). He loved to fish, hunt and go camping with his family up at Waits Lake and Priest Lake. Jack is survived by a daughter, Julie Furgison and her husband, Bill of New Braunfels, TX; son, James Gibson and his wife, Bridgett of Spokane, WA; his brothers, Jim Gibson (deceased), Johnny Gibson; and sister, Judy Lane; grandchildren, Jacqueline and Kevin Sebesta of Round Rock, TX, Adam and Krystalyn Furgison of Buda, TX, and Jackson Gibson of Spokane, WA. Jack also had five great-grandchildren, Brantley Furgsion, Konnor Sebesta, Koen Sebesta, Marlene Furgison, and Kooper Sebesta. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Sunset Chapel inside Fairmount Memorial Park, 5200 West Wellesley on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at 11:30am.
