Janice ARLETH Obituary
Jan was born March 14, 1943, in Lewiston, ID to Wanda and Rudolf Hansen. She attended Emanuel School of Nursing in Portland, Oregon, and obtained her Registered Nurse degree.
Jan met Bob on a blind date in Portland, love blossomed quickly and they were married three months later on September 26, 1970. They made their home for the next 36 years in Tacoma. In 2004 they both decided on retirement and they moved to Lewiston, ID. In March of 2020, they moved to Spokane to be closer to their family. They made their home on the Five Mile Prairie and have resided there until Jans passing.
They were blessed with two children: Brad(Cristi)Deer Park and Renee(Joe)Spokane. They were also blessed with twelve grandchildren: Joshua(Kate), Nicholas, Benjamin(Paige), Garrett, Kimberlee, Caleb, Lyndsey, Tori, Katey, Abbi, Clara, and Robby, and great-granddaughter Ally. Jan loved each one and each one was very special to her.
She is greatly missed by family and friends. A Memorial service is being planned for Lewiston in the Spring.

Dear Robert, I read the posts you and Janice made through the years and knew you were a devoted family...devoted to each other and your children and grandchildren and the Lord. I've known you since gradeschool at Roosevelt and met Janice at Liberty Lake a couple of summers ago. I know from others she was a very caring nurse who made others very happy in time of need. Janice you are truly missed by many.
