John Daniel Gilbert born March 2, 1956 passed away April 26th, 2017 following a brief illness. He is preceded in death by his parents, John Monroe Gilbert,
Mary Jacquelyn Mahar and stepfather, Robert Neil Mahar. Surrounded by family, Dan was released with love and compassion into the warmth and peace of Our Lord. A graduate of Ferris High School and a member of the cross-country team Dan, was also an Army Veteran and will be remembered for his laughter and perseverance in which he approached living life. He is survived by his siblings: Deborah Marks, Robin Brncick, James Gilbert, Patricia Mills and William Gilbert.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be on Monday, May 15, 2017 at 6:00 PM in the Rose Chapel, Hennessey Funeral Home, 2203 N. Division Street.
Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, May 16, 2017at 1:00 PM at Hennessey Funeral Home in the Rose Chapel.
Interment will be held Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 3:00 PM in the Washington State Veterans Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
