Jordan HARSHBARGER Obituary

July 31, 1992 - April 21, 2024

Spokane - After a courageous and fiercely fought battle with ovarian cancer, Jordan passed away on April 21st, 2024. Her grace and strength during the past two years were awe-inspiring. She will be remembered for the love she gave, her laugh, her smile, sense of humor, fierce loyalty, and her love of animals, flowers, and nature.

Jordan is survived by her mother, Christy Peterson, and husband, Dan; her father, Dean Harshbarger, and partner, Ann Borlund; her brother, Shawn; her longtime partner, Paul Gilchrist; grandmother, Peggy Harshbarger; her stepsisters, Anna Peterson and partner, Bailey DeHaas, and Rachel Gilligan; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

Jordan's family would like to thank first and foremost Dr. Soledad Jorge who fought fiercely for Jordan, Dr. Isabel Rodriguez our "mini-Sol", Christi- Dr. Jorge's nurse, all of the nurses and staff of UW 7SE, Dr. Singh, Sandi and Aleyta, and Hospice House of Spokane. Each of these people and places helped to give us more time with Jordan, and for that, we are eternally grateful.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Jordan on May 31st, 4:00PM, at the Centennial Hotel, Skyline Ballroom, downtown Spokane.

Please come dressed for a garden party to help us celebrate the vibrant and special woman she was.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to one of the following groups: STAAROC, OCRA, The Friends of Manito, Hospice House of Spokane, or the Humane Society.

To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
