Predeceased by his parents, Grace and Rene LaGrandeur,

his siblings Charlene (Hal) Sidenquist and Marilyn (Pat) Gray.

and his wife, Ina Kay LaGrandeur, who died in 1993.

Ken is survived by his spouse, Betty, and his six children:

Michelle LaGrandeur, Jill (Ron) Howick, Thomas LaGrandeur,

Christy LaGrandeur, Richard (RaeNell) LaGrandeur,

Susan Bock and many beloved nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, as well as his family with Betty.

Ken was born in Missoula, Montana, and moved to Seattle, Washington, in 1941.

He attended Seattle Preparatory High School, after which he attended Seattle University.

where he was a member of the Army ROTC. After graduating in 1955, Ken was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the US Army and went to officer basic training. He served for 20 years, including two tours as a helicopter pilot in Vietnam, and was a proud military veteran. After his service to our country, Ken became a banker, eventually moving to Poulsbo, Washington, retiring in 1993. Ken moved to Spokane, Washington, in 1996, where he lived out his years.

Ken's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas More Parish in Spokane, Washington, at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, August 16, 2025, with his burial at Gethsemane Cemetery in Federal Way, Washington, in a private ceremony.
