Kevin DOWNIE Obituary

Kevin made the journey to Heaven on August 1st, 2025, looking forward to seeing his beloved dad, Jerry, and brother, Jody.

Kevin was born November 7th, 1957, in Spokane, Washington. He was a real free spirit and very independent. After having a stroke at the age of 46, he had many health challenges. He accepted his limitations and was able to get out on his scooter often.

He enjoyed fishing with his brothers, watching old Westerns, and every football game during the season.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Peggy for her 20 years of caregiving. We are also very grateful to Jane and her staff at Beyond Pristine Adult Family Home for the professional care Kevin received.

Kevin is survived by his son, Jerramiah Pruett of Semi Valley, CA; his mother, Bonnie Ray Downie of Spokane Valley, WA; his brother, Kim (Teri) Downie of Mead, WA; nieces, Shannon and Leanne; nephew, Shane; two grandchildren; and nine great-nieces and nephews.
