Kevin KOPP Obituary

Spokane Valley - Kevin Thomas Kopp, 44, of Spokane Valley, passed away in his sleep from Acute Bronchial Pneumonia hidden by the effects of Sleep Apnea taking its toll on him. Kevin was born on Christmas morning 1977. He graduated from WVHS in 1996. He became a father in 2002 to Ryley Carl and in 2004 to Logan Thomas. In 2004, Kevin graduated from SCC as a Certified BioMedical and Equipment Technician, a career he enjoyed and supported his family with. In July of 2005, Kevin married his childhood crush (their 3rd grade teacher attended the wedding) and high school sweetheart, Rachel. Life took several turns along their journey, but in 2020 everything changed. Kevin became his wife's full time caregiver, while battling her cancer diagnosis together. The absolute best caregiver a woman could ever have along side her. Kevin was a devoted son, brother, husband, father, uncle, and friend. He was devoted to helping everyone with anything and put his all into it. He loved projects, especially starting them. He grew up loving baseball, darts, and 4-wheelers. He loved riding his motorcycle, his obsession with movies, and actively teased his family (and friends, too). He had an awesome sense of humor, loved making others laugh, and made friends everywhere he went. Kevin loved life, his family, and friends with his whole heart. Kevin leaves behind his devastated family of wife Rachel, sons Ryley and Logan, parents David and Tommie, sister Cara, and uncle Will, in-laws Carl and Joanne, sister-in-law Alisha, sister and brother-in-law Jenessa and Travis (nieces Ally and Emma), his heartbroken lifetime (childhood) friends and the forever friends he met along his way, all who adored him. A memorial service will be held on September 17, 2022 from 3pm-6pm at the home/backyard of 624 N. Farr Rd., Spokane Valley, WA. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the GoFundMe (https://gofund.me/567d591e) set up for his family.
