Kevin SANDERS Obituary

November 26, 1961 - February 17, 2025

Kevin Sanders, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on February 17, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on November 26, 1961, in Spokane, Washington, Kevin grew up in the Central Valley School District and graduated from Central Valley High School in 1980.

A man of deep faith, Kevin served a mission in Recife, Brazil, for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Following his mission, he pursued higher education at Brigham Young University before earning his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania. His career as a physical therapist was a true reflection of his caring and compassionate nature, and he found great joy in helping others heal.

Kevin's presence in the lives of his family and friends was immeasurable. He was a dedicated son to Roger and Pamela Sanders and a cherished brother to Lori Kenworthy (Randy), Derek Sanders (LesLee), Corey Sanders, Lexi Sanders, Lisa Lloyd, Justin Sanders (Emily), Lindsey Gardner (Sam), and Ashley Nance (Chris Bearce). He was also adored by his many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews, who brought him endless joy.

An adventurous spirit at heart, Kevin loved playing basketball, camping, and riding motorcycles-always embracing life with enthusiasm and a hint of daring. His passion for connecting with others made him a natural storyteller, always eager to hear about the lives and interests of those he loved.

In recent years, Kevin faced the challenges of a rare neurological condition with strength and resilience. Though it required him to slow down, it never diminished his love for life or his ability to bring warmth and laughter to those around him.

Kevin's legacy is one of kindness, adventure, and deep devotion to his family and friends. He will be profoundly missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
