ALICE, Leo P.
(Age 86)

Leo was born April 12, 1925 in the stone house of the Peirone family in Garden Springs. He entered into rest on November 9, 2011. Leo attended Grant Elementary and Lewis and Clark High School. He grew up in the family business, Liberty Park Florist and Greenhouse. His parents started the business in 1928. Leo and his brother, Joe, continued operating the successful floral business. Leo retired in 1992 and his nephew, Jim Alice, now operates the family business. Leo was preceded in death by his parents, Domenic and Julia Alice; his wife of 59 years, DeLores, his siblings: Joe Alice and Mary Schafer. He is survived by his three children: John and Mike Alice, Suzanne (Kevin) O'Connell and granddaughters, Erin and Kaitlyn O'Connell. Leo had a passion for gardening and loved spending time with his family at their lake cabin. Visitation will be Monday, November 14, from 12:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
