(Age 79)
Marion E. Robinson passed away July 21, 2012 in Spokane. She was born July 3, 1933 in Toppenish, WA, the daughter of Dale and Margaret (Hollander)
Rathbun. Marion was preceded in death by her loving husband of 22 years Gerald Robinson in 1976 and her children Don Robinson, Kathy Wolden and Peggy, David and Natalie Robinson. She is survived by her daughters Tammi (James) Portz of Haslet, TX, Sandi Lorenzi of Spokane and Diana (Ken) Paulus of East Wenatchee, WA; her brother Robert (Marjorie) Rathbun; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Vigil services will be Thursday, July 26, 2012 at 7pm and will take place at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, July 27, 2012 at 10am and will be celebrated at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 2320 N. Cedar, Spokane, with inurnment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Dear family, I had the pleasure of working with your precious mother at Hollister Stier in the early 1980's. I used to call her "Saint Marion" :) She and I both enjoyed each others boisterous laughter, and jokes, as well as our heartaches and sorrows. I listened to so many stories about her most prized possession...her family! After many conversations and endless tales, I almost felt like I really knew each of you! Your Mom always looked for the good in people. She had the biggest heart of anyone I've ever met! I always felt blessed to have her pray for me, cuz I felt like she might have a "little extra pull" with the "man upstairs"! She will always have a special place in my heart. She will be dearly missed and I am so sorry for your loss.

Always an inspiration to me... Was always confident in my life knowing I was on her prayer list.. The Definition of Matriarch to me.... I will always remember her gift of poetry to me... And her infinite amount of love for me and everyone.....whose life she touched.
