Maxwell KING

Spokane - On Sunday, December 18, 2022, Maxwell Clark King passed away at age 32. Maxwell was born in Eugene, OR to his father, Corbin Clark King, and mother, Julia Damon King. Maxwell attended Mead High School where he met many lifelong friends and graduated in 2008. He enjoyed his time on the track team and often thought fondly of his time traveling abroad with his classmates. As an animal lover, Maxwell spent time in his youth volunteering at the Hogle Zoo in Utah. It was there that he was able to work with exotic birds, giant tortoises, and many other beautiful creatures. His love for animals shone bright with his care for his childhood dogs, and Roxy, his Bulldog, and companion since 2020. Max had a special place in his heart for Priest Lake, ID where he spent many summers with family and friends on the water. He also loved playing cards at family get-togethers and working as a carpenter. He was a loyal friend, an encourager, and was always willing to offer help when needed. Maxwell is survived by his mother, Julia, siblings, Nathan and Marilee, grandmother, Phyllis, brother and sister-in-law, Owen and Mickayla, nephews, Lincoln and Hudson, and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and loving friends. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2023, between 12 - 2 pm at Commellini Estate. In lieu of giving flowers, the family asks those who are able instead to donate to the Spokane Humane Society in Maxwell's name.
