Melinda was a great childhood friend that I lived on the South Hill of Spokane a few blocks away from. We went to grade school together, hung out as younger adults and even went to eachother's proms. I always cared about Melinda deeply. I am writing this late but have no less carried her strongly in my mind with loving memories. She was always sprite, hopeful, encouraging, and fun to be with. I have and will miss her deeply. She will always be a part of my life. My thoughts go out to her family and loved ones. And I hope she is continuing her great presence in a better and happier place.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Mel was such a positive inspiration to me. I am honored to have volunteered with her. Our last retreat together will be one I will never forget. She taught me so much that weekend. May her family find strength and love from all the prayers being sent their way. God Bless.

Mel gone too soon.. We served many years together in the WA ANG.. I always thought we would be the old veterans at Guard gatherings talking about the old days... May God continue to comfort Mike and your family in this time of great sorrow.. Till we all meet in heaven one day..Rest well Mel
