It takes a lot to bring me to tears, but here I am with tears streaming down my cheeks. I am shocked and brokenhearted to hear of Melissa’s death. I will miss her always! I met Melissa when I was 16 and she was 6. I was the wife of one of her parents’ friends and since I was still a minor, I was the babysitter and I loved spending time with Melissa and her sisters. She loved playing outside. She was the lead explorer, always ready to take us on a fun adventure in the backyard. I remember how she talked me into climbing the tree and I was afraid to climb back down. And then another time you girls bounced me around on the trampoline til we were all giggling uncontrollably. These are the fond memories I will cherish. I lost contact with the girls for years until I ran into their dad Dave. I was delighted to have Melissa back in my life. She had grown into a remarkable woman and was the mother of three amazing sons. I love and admire Melissa immensely. I had the pleasure of meeting the boys once when we all got together for pizza at her home. It was an amazing night filled with much love and laughter. It would be the last time I'd see Melissa and the boys. The world won’t be the same without her loving presence. She was so gracious and sincere; her kind heart will be missed by me. For the precious moments I shared time on earth with you, I will never forget the bond that blossomed between us! Melissa’s legacy lives on in her three sons, her family, and everyone that came into contact with her. She was nothing short of remarkable and led an incredible life. I know we both share the same faith and may her soul rest in peace. I'm sure to meet again someday.

My most sincere sympathy to her sons, family, and to you too, Melissa!

My beautiful sister Melissa! I will never forget our crazy adventures! Climbing trees, reading a book under the bush in the front yard, the club house we made in the alley behind the house. The car road station you made when we were 9. And the scavenger hunt you designed for me to find my birthday present. The awful looking black cake we made for Dad (David Roberts) on his 40th birthday! We may not always have got along but you and Amanda were the only sisters I ever had! Thank you for my 3 handsome nephews! And thank you for being my sister! I love you Melissa! May God wrap you up in his arms and may those who have gone before us take care of you now! As far as all of us down here, we have each other to lean on. Your memory will never be forgotten! RIP Melissa Kay Morrow!

Melissa had the biggest heart for anyone that she met. Her love for her children was endless and everything she did was to provide for them. She would do anything to help someone in need and had a special spot in her heart for the homeless community. Even though we were only married for a short time, we shared some wonderful adventures and made countless memories. Melissa, you be very missed and will always have a place in our hearts. We all love you.

Melissa was a great mom, friend and sister. Her infectious laugh and quirky sense of humor made her all the more loveable. She would do whatever she had to do for her boys and loved them with all her heart. She loved her dog Kenai and I would see him walking her in the neighborhood. She was truly loved by her family and friends and would always attend others functions whether it be a holiday dinner or game night. She was truly one of a kind.❤❤❤
