Melvin REASOR Obituary

Melvin Lavern Reasor Jr., a beloved father and friend, passed away on September 23, 2025, at 69. Born on September 17, 1956, in Spokane, Washington, he lived with a passion for antiques and a generous heart.

Mel poured his heart and soul into his antique business, where he was a masterful buyer and seller. His knack for finding hidden gems - from vintage furniture to rare collectibles - brought joy to countless customers. Each piece came with a story, and he delighted in sharing the history and craftsmanship behind his treasures, earning him a cherished place in the antique community. His kindness, inspired by his mother, Pearl, shone through in his community service, from delivering meals for the Spokane Food Bank to supporting striking workers at Kaiser Aluminum.

Mel was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Lavern Reasor Sr.; mother, Pearl Elaine Pickett; infant sister, Susan Reasor; and longtime companion, Rae Holland. He is survived by his children, Kendal and Wesley Reasor of Spokane, Washington; and siblings, Dale and Vance Reasor of California, and Rosanna Brazee and Alana Willmann of Spokane, Washington.
