It was an honor and my privilege to know Mike. I worked in Surgery at Sacred Heart Medical Center. There were many, many times in very stressful situations that Mike could always ease the tension with laughter. Of course I envied him owning his '65. His eyes would sparkle when I begged him to let me drive it! I still tell people that story of how blessed he was to have found it. I prefer to remember Mike in the things he did that made me laugh. He was an ultra professional, always on top of things and was always calm in acute cases. Mike (and Linda) are part of the best memories of my days working in Surgery, very rare when you get to meet people like them. I am a blessed man because God let me cross paths with people like Mike. I will see him again, without a doubt, so be at peace Mike. May God comfort and keep Linda.
