Mildred has been a dear friend for many years and a sweet, dear person she was. She and Darrel are together now, they had a mutual admiration for one another. I will miss going to see her and sending her a birthday card on August 10th, my Mom's birthday as well, I didn't realize Mildred shared my Grandmother's name Pearl. We had a lot in common. Loved her!

Dear Terry & Dennis,
I only met your mother a few times while our mother lived for a brief time at Classy Retreat. Your mother kept our mother company during meals occasionally and she was so sweet to Mom and myself. Her kindness was very much appreciated as this was our 95-year old mother's final few months and it was a very difficult time for her and me. We feel so lucky to have had our mother in our lives for so long so you were lucky to have your mother even longer! Mildred seemed like a wonderful person!

Terry, we were looking forward to the wonderful turkey dinner you were brining to the house for Thanksgiving as Mom could no longer go out but Mom had different plans that week "to go home." But, thanks for making that happen for the people who make Classy Retreat home--it's a kind and generous thing to do!
