BEYERS,
Nathan R.
(Age 24)
Passed away on July 7, 2011 while serving his country overseas in Iraq. Nathan was dedicated to serving his country, to serving others, and especially dedicated to his wife and baby girl. He loved golfing, camping, fishing, and bow hunting. His boyish smile and laughter will be missed by all.
He is survived by his wife Vanessa and daughter Ella Jo; his parents Timothy Beyers and Sonja Beyers of Denver, CO; his mother Natalie Bittner of Weir TX; siblings Tyler Beyers and Caelyne Bittner; his grandparents, and two nieces.
A Rosary Vigil Service will be held Sunday, July 17, at 4:00pm at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, July 18, at 10:00am at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 330 E. Boone Ave, with Reverend Ken Krall, SJ officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka KS 66675-8517. 2 months have passed and the knowledge that you are gone is not getting any easier. You are a true hero who died for his country - and deserve not to be forgotten. Thank you for all of the laughs, smiles, and good memories you have given me. You died a hero and the father of a beautiful baby girl who one day will learn how amazing of a person her father is. I pray that the pain will get easier to bear as time goes by, but you will always be a part of my life.

To the family and friends of this fine young soldier: we didn't know Nathan, but thank him for making the ultimate sacrifice for this country. We were brought to tears when we read the article in our local paper about your loss and felt compelled to let you know that there are a lot of people who don't even know you that are grieving with you. Our son just left for Iraq on July 5th. We can't begin to imagine how difficult this must be for you. My heart and prayers go out to Nathan's family and friends. I didn't know him personally but I am a Idaho national guard wife. He was apart of our military family.
