Paula BEEBE-HALL Obituary

Paula Beebe-Hall, a beloved mother and grandmother passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at home in Spokane, Washington, at the age of 67.

Paula was born October 29, 1957, to Darlene Nelson and Kenneth Oscar Nelson in Culver City, California.

Paula received her high school diploma from Portage Central High School in 1976 in Portage, Michigan.

There, she met Michael Hall in 1978 at the Continental Bowling Lanes, where it was love at first sight. They married soon after in 1980.

In 1983, the couple moved to Spokane to be close to Paula's mother, Darlene.

Together Paula and Mike had daughters, Raechel, who graced the earth for one day, and Adrianna, who is her "happy thought."

Paula attended massage school, where she gained her license and much success. She owned and operated a child's daycare in her home for 30 years, and many kids had the honor to learn and be loved under her guidance. She retired in 2012 but never lost her love of cradling a baby close to her chest.

Paula prided herself in beginning the Child Care Union, SEIU925.

She was known to cook elaborate meals, like macaroni and cheese, rhubarb rolls, grilled BBQ salmon, and lasagna, which family and friends begged for at parties and reunions.

Her greatest joy was spending time with her daughter, grandchildren, and dogs.

Paula survived many complications from a decadeslong battle with heart failure, but her heart never failed to warm up everyone in the room.

Paula was preceded in death by her mom, Darlene; dad, Kenneth; daughter, Raechel; and dogs, Shanel, Buddy, Jack, and Sadie Mae.

"Bama," or "Grandma Pooh," is survived and greatly missed by her lifelong partner, Michael Hall; daughter, Adrianna (Andrew) Sampey; adopted son, Jonathan (Maryanne) Watson; brother, Terry (Carol) Nelson; many cousins; grandchildren, Archer, Asher, Kambria, Eli, Benson, and Logan; and dog, Buster.

Memorial services will take place at 1 p.m., on Friday, April 4, at Fairmount Memorial Park, 5200 W. Wellesley Ave. Please wear purple.

In lieu of floral delivery, please donate money by calling Appleway Florist and mentioning "Paula Hall's Floral Fund." Donations can also be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association

My prayers are with Paula's family. I knew Paula as a co-worker and friend that I enjoyed seeing at all many childcare meetings and conferences we attended together. She was the life of the party and will be dearly missed. Heaven had received a new angel.

Our granddaughter Madeleine went to Paula's daycare many years ago. Being in Paula's care you became family, and she became gramma pooh. One of the many special projects she did with the kids were with small Terra cotta pots, rolling paint on the kids' hands and forever leaving their little print on that pot......I still have my Terra cotta pot. Even in it's cracked, broken and pitiful state, I will forever cherish that pot and will forever be grateful to Paula for such a timeless treasure.
