Phil will always be remembered by us for his positivity, kind-hearted nature, infectious smile and willingness to help everyone in the neighborhood and elsewhere. Sometimes he would visit with his son's, sometimes with his granddaughters and the love he has for them is visibly evident. We will miss Phil. The world was a better place because he was in it. Our deepest condolences to his family and close friends.

I am saddened by the sudden loss of Uncle Phil, my prayers go out to him, Aunt Darlene, Josh and Aaron.
Since hearing the news the Rolodex of memories have been suddenly flooding open.
My earliest recollection must of been around 1981 or so, a road trip to exotic Federal Way to visit Uncle Phil and Aunt Darlene in their white house, managing the overgrown black berry bushes with goats.
The 1980´s were filled with cousin sleep overs, backpacking trips to Shaffer Lake, Lake Wenatchee cabin trips, "working" in the orchard, opening weekend of fishing season at Lake Conconully.
Youth football in the fall, YMCA wrestling in the winter, and Wenatchee Youth Baseball in the spring.
Uncle Phil was always there on every trip, and around to teach us a thing or two.
Of course time passes, we grow, we move, we lose touch, not on purpose it just happens life gets busy.
But last year I was fortunate to bump into Uncle Phil, for what turned out to be the last time. He was as warm, funny, and as kind hearted as I remembered. It was if time hadn´t passed at all. Made me feel comfortable, like I was a 12 year old kid again, only this time I got all his jokes!
Rest in Peace Uncle Phil
