Bob sold me his 1944 Oliver 70 tractor back in the 90's when we were still neighbors. I'm happy to say that I am in the process of getting it back from a friend of mine to set up as "yard art" on our back property. A reminder of a faith-filled friend and neighbor with a vast knowledge of horses, and deep, living faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. Bob helped mold my Christian faith by his example of humility and wisdom. R.I.P., Bob.

I just read Bob's obituary now. Bob was my neighbor next door on the West Plains for several years. A good man and lover of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Thanks for shoeing our horse, and the many other things you did for us.
I enjoyed baling your hay for you, and our long talks. Till we meet again, R.I.P., Bob, old friend.

Dear Lea.
Your Husband was a great man of God , many days he pulled me aside and told me to get my life right and I loved that man. Please give my love to all of your family. When my Mothers told me , I pulled over and broke down in tears and I cried.

Thanks for all you taught me about horses and for being such a great friend to my family. For the 40 years I knew you, you always gave me great counsel and demonstrated God's love and commitment to family. I loved participating in Royal Rangers with you too! A special memory as well is how you and Lea always saved the Christmas Card photos we sent you each year of Kyle and Katie as they grew up. Miss you already, but I know you will welcome us when we reach our heavenly home and have that reunion.

Lea and family, our deepest condolences. Bob was a rare gem. We will forever cherish our time in the mountains of Idaho and Montana with you both, and of course Bob´s exceptional spirit, sense of humor, and his gift for story telling. May God grant you peace in his passing. Much love to you both.
