Ronald L. JORGENSEN

JORGENSEN, Ronald L. Passed away November 14, 2015, after a long illness. He was born in Provo, Utah, April 29, 1941. Ron moved to California as a child and grew up there. Ron started driving for Greyhound in 1972 in San Francisco, he transferred to Spokane, WA in 1978. He retired from Greyhound in 1996 after 24 years. After retiring he went to work at S.C.C. golf course, he called it his fun job! He then retired again in 2010 from S.C.C. Ron is survived by his wife of 57 years, Georgene; four children and their spouses: Jennifer Minor, Ronald Gene Jorgensen, Georgette Conley and Jason Jorgensen. Ron has seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; also a loving sister, Deana Bassett of Wasilla, Alaska; his uncle, Bud Beck of California, who is his only other surviving relative; he also has a brother-in-law, Keith Potter and family in California; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. a special thank you to son-in-law, Paul Conley, for all of his help and loving support for Ron. Ron leaves behind a family that will always love him dearly and will miss him greatly. Memorial Services will be held December 26, 2015, at the LDS Church on 29th and Pittsburg, South Hill, at 2:00pm. Reception immediately following service at the church to celebrate Ron's life.
