Rose FRITZ Obituary

August 21, 1939 - April 7, 2025

Spokane - Rose Ann Fritz was born August 21, 1939, and died April 7, 2025.

She was born in Tulsa, OK, to Percy and Maxine Bell. At the age of two, she was adopted by Guy and Nelwyn Bunnell of Oklahoma City, OK, where she lived until 1961.

She married Joseph Fritz in Red Bank, NJ, in 1991, and they retired to Spokane, WA, in 2002. Joseph preceded her in death in May 2022.

Between them, they had eight children, Guy Markel Jones (Anne), San Antonio, TX, Brad Hollenbeck (Linda), Bella Vista, AR, Brian Hollenbeck, Spokane, WA, Madeleine Krell (Ed) Arlington, WA, Marie-Cristine Papineau, (Luke) Kenmore, WA, Joseph Fritz III, Spokane, WA, Bethanie Fritz, Botthell, WA, and Larissa Cervantes, (Nat) Freehold, NJ; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was an active member of Audubon Park United Methodist Church, Spokane, WA, since 2002. A memorial service is planned at the church for April 26, 2025, at one o'clock.
