My mom, sister and myself use to attend book study in the Tumlinson household. Shirley always wanted to keep everyone over after the study to laugh and visit, she truly made it fun and tons of laughter. Her example of a Spiritual sister and devotion to Jehovah and her family will always be things I remember most about her. What a wonderful time it is going to be to greet her again.

Mother made sure her sons were prepared for the world and taught us many important lessons. She was also a very dedicated wife to our father Verno. I miss them both very much and plan to see them both in the future

Shirley was not only a great Mother, Grand Mother but a wonderful loving Aunt and true friend.
I loved her sly and wicked sense of humor, along with that crooked little smile, that would shine when she found humor in something that someone said or did. I along with others would try our best to get Shirley on a roll laughing to the point she would say "Now that is enough... Now Stop it" and of course we just continue on until she couldn't catch her breath and or that her eyes would tear up from all laughter.
But no one could compete with the Master~Shirleys Husband/My Uncle Verno he was best. Those were great memories.
Other qualities that I admired of Aunt Shirley was her ability to freely express true empathy when ever it was needed. The way she showed her love, deep respect and devotion to my Uncle Verno. Also how seriously she took her dedication to Jehovah and his Organization also being guided by Bible principles and making adjustments or corrections when needed, and staying focus on the future.
Right for now we are experiencing the pain, tears and deep sorrow from losing a dear one like Shirley.
What a Grand hope we have in the very near future. I can't hardly wait to hear Shirley's Laughter once again. What a Grand Time that will be!

We have a big hug for her when she wakes up in Paradise! We are proud to have her as our friend and spiritual sister. Her faithfulness to Jehovah was worthy of imitation. Her absence will be felt by many until we see her again.

Dear Tomlinson Family,
I'm sorry to hear of Shirley's passing. I'm sure your family will miss her, but just for awhile. I have many fond memories with her. We traveled to California one summer,it was blazing hot, and one over packed car. She was a good sport, and we had a lot of fun.
We all have much to look forward to, one of which is to see Shirley again.
