Susan PANTHER Obituary

May 14, 1960 - November 26, 2024

Susan Joy Panther (Trohkimoinen), beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on November 26, 2024, in Spokane, Washington. She was born on May 14, 1960, in Seattle, Washington, to Ervin and Betty Trohkimoinen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ervin and Betty, and her sister, Candace Jacobson.

Susan is survived by her children, Rachel (Tim) Pringle, Tim (Brandi) Panther, and Hannah "Lou" Panther, as well as her grandchildren, Oakley Pringle and Daniel Panther. She is also survived by her sister, Christine (James) Woodruff. Her beloved dogs, Tess and Rocco, were her loyal companions until the end.

Susan had a passion for running, photography, and cooking, and she was known for making the best chicken and dumplings-a dish that brought family and friends together time and time again.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 21 at Manito Park at the Lower Picnic Shelter at 3 pm, where friends and family will honor her memory with a potluck of all her famous dishes-a fitting tribute to a woman who nourished so many with her cooking and kindness. We invite her friends and family to sign up to make one of her delicious dishes.

In Susan's memory, please consider donating to a local animal shelter and doing something kind for someone else-gestures that reflect the love and generosity she shared throughout her life.

Susan's love will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her. She is deeply missed but never forgotten.
