Talley HOFFMAN Obituary

Talley passed away at home, July 21, 2025, after a long, hard-fought battle with breast cancer. To Quinton (Bud) and Beverly (Bea) Barnes, she was born January 15, 1957, in Duluth, MN. She was raised in Big Bear Lake, CA, and has lived in Spokane, WA, since college. Talley lived her life with a hearty appetite for activity and adventure, enjoying visiting other parts of the country and world, downhill skiing, being a 2-time autocross champion, and fulfilling her dream to ride her motorcycle to the Arctic Circle in Alaska. She lived her life finding the bright side, with a loving heart that brightened everything she touched. Her friendships were the best: lifelong, impactful, and loyal. Talley had an uncanny ability to reach and connect with people in a deep and positive way. Her views on life and death will forever inspire us, and her spirit will remind us to always have grace and kindness in our hearts. She is survived by her loving husband, Greg, her children, Eric, Tracy, Brett, Alex, and Myles, her 10 grandchildren, Quinn, Atlee, Cole, Leo, Thor, Alix, Kaylie, Leila, Kyo, and Pyper, and her siblings Kara, Frank, Rusty, and Bill. Her memorial celebration will be held at her residence on Saturday, September 6th, at 2:00 PM. All who knew her are welcome to attend. Please text or call for more information (509)-280-1583. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in her honor to the National Parks Foundation or 2nd Harvest.
