Viola UNGER Obituary

Viola Unger, age 90, was accepted into the arms of the Lord on May 11, 2025. She was born October 16, 1934, in Watrous, Saskatchewan, Canada.

Viola married Benjamin Unger on May 2, 1954, in Yarrow, B.C., Canada, together they raised two children, and enjoyed 71 years of marriage.

She has lived in Spokane since 1963, where she worked in doctor's offices, chaired various clubs, was a tour guide, and was active in her church. Vi was also a member of the Spokane Watercolor Society and sold many of her paintings over the years. Vi and Ben loved to travel and have taken many trips all over the world.

Vi is survived by the love of her life, Ben; her daughter; two grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and her two sisters, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Vi was a loving, kind, and caring person who was well loved and who's presence will be missed by all.

A memorial service to honor Viola will be held on June 21st, beginning at 2pm, at the Shiloh Hills Followship Church, 207 Lincoln Rd., Spokane, WA 99208. Memorial contributions in Viola's memory can be made to the Moody Aviation Students Scholarship.

Viola Unger will always live on in our lives! Her beautiful giving soul, the exquisite taste that created beauty around her....will never to be forgotten. She loved, and we have loved her back...and that will never end.
